DESCRIPTION

Fully automatic drop down continuous wrap around cartoning machine designed to be integrated in a high speed production line complete with:

Multilane feeding system
Bielomatik Two chain conveyor plastic belts separately powered and controlled by Inverter.
Bielomatik Pneumatic device to facilitate the product flow in the various feeding channels.
Bielomatik Product guides easily adjustable for the various sizes; as an option it is available the adjustment with wheel for a faster size change.
Bielomatik Maximum filling sensor to check product accumulation upstream the machine infeed.
Bielomatik Minimum filling sensor at each infeed channel: in case of product lack in one channel the product separation stops and the machine waits for the arrival of new product, automatically restarting.
Bielomatik Control sensor for possible fallen product: in this case the machine stops signalling the alarm to the operator.

Product separation
The bundle is then taken over by a series of bars that mate to the cardboard that arrives from the lateral carton blank storage. During the transfer to the drop down station the transversal gluing is performed.

Multilane feeding system
Bielomatik The carton is formed around the bundle ("wraparound") in a non-stop mode.
Bielomatik During their descent the front and the back flaps are folded.
Bielomatik Top side is folded over as soon as the partially formed carton starts moving towards.
Bielomatik The closure of the little flap is executed with an upper chain conveyor.
Bielomatik With a non stop motion the 4 side flaps are folded and the glue strips are applied on the four central flaps subsequently folded.
Bielomatik The side flaps are then pressed by means of side rolls during a non stop motion.

High capacity blank magazines
Bottom and lid blanks are positioned vertically onto the magazines. A servodriven and pivoting arm takes the blanks from magazine with vacuum suckers and turns them of 90° orienting and positioning them on launchinggroup which transfer the blanks inside the machine.
A signal warns the operator when the carton level is too low. Refilling is possible, from an ergonomical position, meanwhile the machine is running.
Max capacity of the magazines is 1500 mm.

Tray-Lid

DESCRIPTION

Multifile feeding composed of:
Bielomatik Two chain conveyor plastic belts separately powered and controlled by Inverter.
Bielomatik Pneumatic device to facilitate the product flow in the various feeding channels.

Product separation
A system of pins fit between the products on the separation belt, controlled by two servomotors, allows to separate the configuration without stopping the products.
The bundle is then taken over by a series of bars that mate to the cardboard that arrives from the lower table of the machine.

Carton feeding
The operator loads the cartons on a plastic chain conveyor under the product feeding. The cartons are picked up by suction cups.
The cartons are picked up by suction cups, which release the carton on a chain conveyor with the bars that push the product on top of the machine for a perfect coupling. All the pickup group, carton transport and product conveyor bar, are controlled by a servomotor. The carton transport and the bar transport are also protected to immediately stop the machine in case of a hitch. The storage guides and carton elevation are adjustable with a handwheel. In case of carton mis-picking, an alarm alerts the operator.

Tray forming
Servomotor controlled section, the tray is formed around the product by means of front and lateral fix folders; to fold the back small lateral flaps there are two folders mechanically controlled. An hot-melt group applies the glue on the lateral folds while the tray is non-stop formed. Two fix guides keep the tray during the transport keeping closed the lateral folds during the glue drying. The chains are equipped with an automatic tensioning unit and a joint with sensor generating an alarm in case of overloading. Size change operations are easy and fast and can be performed all from operator position. Before transferring the tray on the wrapping belts it is checked if the tray has been correctly formed, otherwise an alarm will signal the problem to the operator.

Control panel
The operator controls all the machine functions by means of an “touch screen” operator panel, indicating the machine status and possible alarms.

Size change
The operator inserts on video the number of the new size on display to obtain the set up of the electronic functions of the machine, while he has to act on the various mechanical adjustments in case of product dimension changes.
